Always on the lookout for a great idea—and the best way to tell it—Joana joined WLP Innovation to turn meaningful stories into engaging content. She is, without a doubt, the most organised member of the team; her notebooks could easily deserve their own publication. She is also WLP Innovation’s strongest advocate for sustainability, always finding a new purpose for containers, packaging and just about anything that can be reused.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Social and Cultural Communication, complemented by specialised training in Television Production, Joana is a Content Producer at WLP Innovation and coordinates the CNN Portugal programme Marcas com Sustentabilidade (Brands with Sustainability), a project that perfectly reflects the values she believes in.

After contributing to the production of the documentary series Arte com Selos (Art Through Stamps) for RTP2, she is currently working on a new documentary series exploring the hidden stories and behind-the-scenes realities of places we think we already know.

Her portfolio also includes Marcas com História (Brands with History) for CNN Portugal and the web series Farmácias com Histórias (Pharmacies with Stories), produced for the Portuguese National Association of Pharmacies, projects that have taken her across the country in search of remarkable people, heritage and untold stories.

Over the past few years, Joana has also contributed to productions for Portugal’s three leading television broadcasters, including Planeta A (RTP1/Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation), a documentary series dedicated to sustainability, Esta Mensagem É Para Ti (SIC) and Goucha (TVI), building a broad experience across entertainment, documentary production and institutional communication.
