Epsiode 6 – Licor Beirão

In the sixth episode of “Marcas com História” we visit Lousã and the almost century – old brand, Licor Beirão. Lousã and Licor Beirão are inseparable, just as the Redondo family and the company that has remained with them for four generations.

Talking about this brand is not just discussing successful business, leaders nationally acclaimed and exporters of reference. Licor Beirão is the story of a true advertising genius, someone ahead of their time: José Carranca Redondo. Licor Beirão is the product (formerl y medicinal and sold in a small pharmacy) and how the product is sold: “spirited” and disruptive.

But the brand is not only made from the factory (a factory that combines progress with the “humanizing” detail of still manually placing the ribbon in the bottle). It is made of rugby, significant social responsibility, but it also harbors a well-kept secret: the original recipe.
